About Voice of Korean
Voice of Korean aka Korean American Citizens League(KACL)
Founded in 2019, the KACL is one of argest Korean American civil rights organization in the United States. The KACL monitors and responds to issues that enhance or threaten the civil and human rights of all Asian Americans and implements strategies to effect positive social change, particularly to the Korean and Asian Pacific American Community.
KACL은 2019년에 설립된 미국 내 가장 대표적인 한인 인권단체 중 하나입니다. KACL은 모든 아시아계 미국인의 시민권과 인권을 강화하거나 위협하는 문제에 대해 지속적으로 모니터링하고 대응하며, 특히 한국인 및 아시아 태평양계 미국인 커뮤니티에 긍정적인 사회 변화를 가져오기 위한 전략을 실행합니다.
The KACL and the Korean American community are continuously affected by changes in the political environment and in demographics. Asian society continues to be impacted by the events of September 11, 2001 and Covid March 11 2020, which created a worldwide climate of uncertainty and insecurity where we must reconcile the proper balance between issues of asian security and our civil liberties. We are also affected by the changing demographics of race, ethnicity and age.
KACL과 한인사회는 정치환경과 인구구조의 변화에따라 지속적으로 영향을 받고 있습니다. 아시안 사회는 2001년 9월 11일과 2020년 3월 11일 코로나 사태의 영향도 계속 받고 있습니다. 이로인해 전세계적으로 아시안들에 대한 안전의 불확실성과 불안의 분위기가 조성 되었으며 국가 안보 문제와 아시안들의 자유 차별 사이의 적절한 균형을 조정해야 합니다. 우리는 또한 인종, 민족, 연령의 인구통계 변화에 영향을 받습니다.
Looking to our future, the KACL constantly assesses the effectiveness of its role in Korean American, Asian Pacific American and civil rights communities, and what infrastructure is necessary to effectively support our mission and efficiently achieve our goals. Today, with Mixed Race Asian Americans making up one of the fastest-growing racial demographics in the United States, the KACL looks for opportunities to embrace our increasingly multicultural, multi-ethnic community, while simultaneously preserving our immigrant legacy.
우리의 미래를 바라보며 KACL은 지속적으로 우리의 역할이 한국계 미국인, 아시아 태평양계 미국인 및 시민권 커뮤니티에서 역할의 효율성과 우리의 사명을 효과적으로 지원하고 목표를 효율적으로 달성하기 위해 어떤 인프라가 필요한지 지속적으로 평가합니다. 오늘날 아시아계 미국인이 미국에서 가장 빠르게 성장하는 인종 인구 통계 중 하나를 구성하고 있는 상황에서 KACL은 점점 더 다문화 및 다민족 커뮤니티를 포용할 수 있는 기회를 모색하는 동시에 이민자 유산을 보존하고자 합니다.

Aware of our responsibilities as one of largest Korean Pacific American civil rights organization, KACL strives to promote a world that honors diversity by respecting values of fairness, equality and social justice.

Mission
The Korean American Citizens League is a national organization whose ongoing mission is to secure and maintain the civil rights of Korean Americans and all others who are victimized by injustice and bigotry. The leaders and members of the KACL also work to promote cultural, educational and social values and preserve the heritage and legacy of the Korean and Asian American community.
한미시민연맹은 한국계 미국인과 불의와 편견으로 인해 피해를 입은 모든 사람들의 시민권을 보호하고 유지하는 것을 사명으로 삼고 있는 전국 조직입니다. KACL의 지도자와 회원들은 또한 문화적, 교육적, 사회적 가치를 증진하고 한인 및 아시아계 미국인 공동체의 유산을 보존하기 위해 노력합니다.
